FLECKTARN BCR1

FLECKTARN BCR1

Sale Price:$285.00 Original Price:$385.00

What’s with the 1970s and their love for hard camo patterns? Developed in Germany in 1976, Flecktarn was designed for temperate woodlands and has become the ultimate fall-season camo—definitely one of my favorites.

This unique pattern is almost unobtanium because it can only be imported. It’s made up of five colors—dark green, grey‑green, red‑brown, and black—and this palette is tough as hell. Based on German research into natural patterns, Flecktarn lets you wear the tree‑line watercolors straight out of a Bill Watterson panel.

The name itself is a blend of the German words “Fleck” (spot, blot, or mark) and “Tarnung” (camouflage). Introduced in 1990 after the reunification of the German army, Flecktarn is still in use today. The Dutch army even tested it and rejected it for being “too aggressive.” If that’s not punk rock, I don’t know what is.
