Brave Castle Pistol Fundamentals
This warm-up was developed for my students and for my own training. It's designed for intermediate to advanced shooters and is how we start classes and workshops.
The drill focuses on recoil control, height-over-bore awareness, transitions, and precision. It finishes with a zero confirmation—because it's always good to confirm zero after you're warmed up.
I believe most shooters don’t work on precision enough, and not enough emphasis is placed on trigger press. This warm-up will challenge your grip, eyes, and trigger control.
To increase difficulty, consider adding draws and timing each iteration. It’s a great way to apply pressure and test your consistency.
