BELT SCABBARD

BELT SCABBARD
The Belt Scabbard
A modular dump pouch built for flat range and competition use.
This design came from necessity. I needed more pockets on the range to deal with the constant juggling of gear—especially while training from concealment. Timers, phone, sharpies, paster gun, notes, water, and the endless trail of magazines… I was always looking for one more place to stash something. I needed organization. That’s where the Belt Scabbard was born.
I didn’t want just another laser-cut dump pouch. I wanted something scalable—semi-rigid, secure, and modular. Something I could build on over time. The big goal: shoot from concealment and mount a rifle fast mag to my EDC belt via a dump pouch. I hated how floppy dump pouches are, and I hated how much belt space they wasted. Combining form and function just made sense. Now I have something to catch gear—and feed from.
The semi-rigid body comes from a lasered sheet of CURVE (similar to Tegris). This structure allows for stable mounting of pouches inside the Scabbard. You can mount two pistol pouches or one rifle pouch right where you need it for reloads. Pouches aren’t included, but two strips of ONE-WRAP velcro are. This makes mounting, removing, and swapping pouches stupid easy—no more malice clips. ONE-WRAP for the win. Yes, it’s included.
Another goal was stability. I wanted it to mount quickly to an EDC belt and stay locked down during full USPSA stages—no swinging, no banging around. The Belt Scabbard mounts via the included EDC holster clips and hardware, or with standard malice clips if you're running a battle belt.
Additional features:
Laser-cut PALS and velcro-lined sides for modular attachments
Intended future add-ons: phone pouch, timer holder, pen keeper
Rigid enough to accept pouches and stick the body so it move with you
You can overload it—but I don’t expect anyone to turn this into a full mag rack. Stay nimble.
At the end of the day, the Belt Scabbard is your best friend on the range. Free up your pockets. Keep your gear tight and organized. Mount a rifle mag and water bottle to your waist and roll out with a minimalist truck loadout. Not as much kit as a chest rig, but faster to mount and easier to live with.
Yeah, it looks a little unorthodox. But once you use it, you’ll get it. Stop flopping. Stop swinging. Keep it close, and keep working.
